UNESCO: Representative of Azerbaijan elected as Vice-Chair of Education Commission

The Education Commission sessions are holding within the 41st Session of the UNESCO General Conference.

Our country was represented at the sessions of the Education Commission by Tural Ahmadov, head of the International Cooperation department of the Ministry of Education.

During the session, the representative of Azerbaijan, as well as representatives of the United Kingdom, India and Liberia were elected as vice-chairs of the UNESCO Education Commission.

The next session will discuss the implementation of the UNESCO Education Program for Sustainable Development 2020, the review and adoption of the draft Program and Budget for 2022-2025, as well as the Draft Operational Strategy for Africa Priority (2022-2029).
