The draft resolution presented by Azerbaijan was unanimously adopted at UNESCO

The draft resolution entitled "Implementation of Fit for Life and the International Conference of Ministers and Senior Officials Responsible for Physical Education and Sport (MINEPS VII)" proposed by Azerbaijan for the agenda of the 215^th session of UNESCO was unanimously adopted.

Elman Abdullayev, Permanent Delegate of Azerbaijan to UNESCO, speaking about the draft resolution presented by Azerbaijan with the co-sponsorship of 61 countries, reminded that the 7^th International Conference of Ministers and Senior Officials Responsible for Physical Education and Sport will be held in Azerbaijan in March 2023. He noted that Azerbaijan is one of the first countries to support the "Fit for Life" initiative.

The main goal of the resolution is to prepare an inclusive and integrated roadmap for the recovery from the pandemic, to increase the well-being of young people around the world and to strengthen mobilization in sports.
