Meeting of the Education Ministers of the Member States of the Non-Aligned Movement was held

On November 29, an online meeting of the Education Ministers of the Member States of the Non-Aligned Movement was held under the organization of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, who gave an opening speech at the meeting, informed the event participants about the steps taken to ensure the continuity of education in our country during the pandemic, the work done in the field of education and the achievements reached in the direction of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Stefania Giannini, Assistant Director General of UNESCO for Education, Andreas Schleicher, Director for Education and Skills, and Special Advisor on Education Policy to the Secretary-General at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and Ministers of Education of the Non-Aligned Movement Member States spoke about the challenges facing the field of education, shared their experiences regarding the innovations that are happening.

During the meeting, the head of the Youth Organization of the Non-Aligned Movement, Ordukhan Gahramanzade, also spoke and gave the detailed information about the activities of the Youth Organization.
