UNESCO Assistant Director General addressed a gratitude letter

Stefania Giannini, Assistant Director General of UNESCO for Education, addressed a letter of thanks to Vafa Yagublu, the head of the Content, teaching and assessment department in general and preschool education of the Ministry of Science and Education, for her effective work in the International Expert Group. The letter was sent to the head of the department for her productive activities in the International Expert Group created for the purpose of revising the 1974 UNESCO Recommendation concerning Education for International Understanding, Co-operation and Peace, Education for Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.

It should be noted that experts with more than 15 years of experience in the field of education, who participated in the preparation of relevant legal documents, were selected for the International Expert Group. The 1974 Recommendation, as revised and prepared by the Expert Group, is scheduled to be adopted at the 43^rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in 2023.
